The Skating Rink is open to the public for skating lessons, hockey leagues and private rentals. The rink offers skate rentals of both figure skates and hockey skates as well as skate sharpening. There is a food concession stand available during public skate hours.

Baystate Skating School

It’s time to sharpen your blades for the coming winter season. Lace up your skates and join the fun.
  • Recreation, Figure, Hockey skills taught by professional Instructors
  • Skaters must have sharpened Figure, Hockey, or Recreation Skates - NO Double Runners
  • Skating helmets are mandatory for students ages 4 to 9 years old and highly recommended for everyone. Mittens/gloves encouraged.
  • There is a 25 minute lesson and a 25 minute supervised practice.
  • Skill progression: balancing, falling and getting up, glides, turns, edges, crossovers, spins, jumps, and more.
  • This is not a drop-off class.

Adult Men's Hockey

Join our adult men's hockey league! Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings under the lights and starry nights. Officials are assigned to all games and league standings are kept.
